1. So how does it work?
Great question! Browse our online or printed menus, then order online or call in a food order to (618) 394-5664. Then sit back - we hadle the rest - from placing the order, dispatching your Self-Employed Delivery Professional who delivers it to your home, office or hotel. It really is THAT easy!
2. How long does it take to get my order?
Average delivery
time runs 45-60 minutes. (See 2a. for lunch). This gives us plenty of time to get the order to the restaurant, the restaurant to prepare your meal and the mobile server to get it safely to your door. Please know that we are working to coordinate your delivery as soon as possible. Restaurant cook times, adverse weather or traffic conditions could also affect delivery times, so please allow for the safety of your Dinner Drivers!
2a. Does it take the same time at lunch?
For lunch deliveries at
noon, ideally orders are placed 24 hours in advance to ensure we can have your order delivered at your desired time. Please be aware we work hard to meet all our customers' requests, however we do work on a first-come, first-served basis, and customers who have specified a time in advance will have priority. Additionally, 11am to 1pm are also very busy times for our restaurant partners, increasing the time needed to prepare your order. Advance ordering can be done via phone or by clicking the "Advance Order" tab on our homepage.
3. What forms of payment do you accept?
In addition to Cash, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. You have the option of paying online with credit card, or cash at your door. If you pay with credit card, please have the card and an I.D. ready to show the Mobile Server when he/she arrives. Prices shown reflect a 3% discount for cash orders.
4. How much does it cost for delivery?
There is a modest delivery fee of $3.99 per restaurant. While most deliveries are within 5 miles from the restaurant; $1 per mile may be added for deliveries greater than 5 miles, up to $5.99. If any delivery will require greater than $5.99, Dinner Driver will call you to confirm before placing the order.
Below is a chart of the base delivery fees for different zip codes/restaurants. You'll notice most fall within the $3.99 delivery range; however since most zip codes are very spread out, if your delivery is more than 5 miles, additional fees may apply. Distances are determined by Dinner Driver.

5. What is your minimum food order?
We
require a $12 minimum food order per restaurant during dinner hours and a $20 minimum at lunch. Some restaurants may require a higher minimum order. Please see their menu for details.
6.? Can I tip the Dinner Driver?
Absolutely! Your Dinner Driver uses his/her own vehicle and works for tips just like a server in your favorite restaurant. 15-20% is typical, and if you'd like it added onto your credit card at the time of order, just let us know! Dinner Driver is a restaurant marketing firm that advertises restaurants. When engaging our services to arrange for delivery, you are hiring the services of a self-employed delivery professional.
7. Can I place an order for a future delivery?
Advance orders are a good idea to reserve delivery times, especially at lunch when most customers want to eat at the same time. Click the "Advance Orders" tab on the home page and follow the instructions. You may also call in your advance order. 394-5664.
8. I don't see my favorite restaurant - what's up?
To ensure the highest quality service for you, all of our restaurants are contractual partners. If you don't see a restaurant you want, send an email to dinnerdriver@gmail.com and we'll contact them with the request. You can also let the restaurant leadership know you're interested in them offering delivery.

(Note: Lunch orders require a $20 minimum food order. ADVANCE ORDERS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
Dinner Hours
Mon - Thu: 4:30pm - 9:00pm
Fri &
Sat: 4:30pm - 9:30pm
Sun: 4pm-8pm
(Last order will be taken during these hours. Some restaurants open and close earlier than others and may not be available during all delivery hours.)
